Buon giorno! My name is Sharon however I was born Donna Haimowitz (my birthmother’s last name) and my father was Vincenzo Civitano I was placed for adoption in 1953 and 15 years ago at the age of 50, on my last hope and a prayer I located my birth family, both maternal and paternal side. After literally years of searching, even before the help of the internet, I just couldn’t stop searching so I began digging into my new found families past. The journey has been amazing as we connect and reconnect lost and found generations. For the last year or so I have been blogging my Jewish side with some amazing and unbelievable connections as well as lost history dug up. My Italian side had been well documented over the years with many connections and friendships made. I thought it was time to begin to tell our story in more of a story form. So let the journey begin!
